Kathmandu- Business tycoon and richest person in the world Elon Musk has said he would reverse twitter's decision to ban former US president Donald trump from the platform if his deal to buy the social network goes through.

On April 14, 2022, business magnate Elon Musk offered to purchase American social media company twitter, inc, for $43 billion , after previously acquiring 9.1% of company's stock for $2.64 billion, becoming it's largest shareholder.

Musk also said by banning someone from expressing their opininon on any platform is the violation of "freedom of expression" right given by the constitution of America to its citizens and termed twitter decision to ban Trump as "morally wrong and flat out stupid".

Meanwhile Trump has stated publicly that he would not return to twitter even if he were allowed to, preferring instead the "Truth Social Network" founded under his name.
