Manchester United lost 1-0 to Real Sociedad in the Europa League on thursday.
Despite not creating many clear-cut chances, United looked in complete control of the match for nearly the first hour before a controversial penalty decision saw Brais Mendez give the visitors the lead. It was David Silva's shot that hit Lisandro Martinez's thigh before deflecting onto his hand, as the former Manchester City man came back to haunt Old Trafford once more.
