Lionel Messi’s absence at Camp Nou seems like it has been greatly missed by many Barcelona fans and some are already beckoning on the Argentine to return to the club.

Messi left Barcelona as a free agent in 2021 following the Catalans financial issues and penned a 2-year deal with French champions Paris Saint-Germain.

Barcelona legend, Carles Puyol has now beckoned on the 7-time Ballon d’Or winner to return to the Camp Nou when his contract with PSG expires next summer. ''It’s not too late for a Leo Messi return. He has one year left in his contract and many things can happen in that time. It depends on Xavi and Leo, but he will always be welcomed at Barca.”
