Finance Secretary Madhu Kumar Marasini goes on leave amid controversy over Finance Minister Janardan Sharma for breaching the budgetary discipline.

According to his secretariat, Marasini said he was not feeling well and would not return to the ministry on Wednesday and Thursday.

Social media users are also questioning the role of Finance Secretary Marasini, saying he did not act in accordance with his official responsibilities.
