A meeting has been held between former Prime Minister and CPN-Maoist Central Chairman Prachanda and Mahanayak Rajesh Hamal at Prachanda's residence in Khumaltar this morning.

The meeting, which took place during the race for the post of chairman of the Film Development Board, is considered meaningful.

Musician Chetan Sapkota, who participated in the meeting, said that they talked about politics, problems in the Nepali film industry and solutions.

The meeting was arrange by Sapkota himself. Sapkota said that after a short group meeting, only Prachanda and Rajesh Hamal had a discussion.
