Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Balen Shah has said that tax exemption cannot be given to government and private organizations who will allow their toilets to be used by the general public, rather those organizations will get sanitation materials from Kathmandu Metropolitan City every four month

Shah even clarified that the metropolis has not forced anyone to make their toilet for public use.

At an executive meeting today he said 'When a tax exemption is given to a restaurant, it depends on whether it can be given to the bank or not.'
