England captain Harry Kane scored in the first Premier League match since the World Cup as Tottenham fought back from 2-0 down to draw with Brentford.

The hosts took a one-goal lead into half-time after Vitaly Janelt pounced on a Spurs defensive mistake.

Ivan Toney then doubled the hosts' advantage during a thrilling second-half which saw three goals scored.

Spurs captain Harry Kane pulled one back for his side with a looping header and kick-started their comeback.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg pulled Antonio Conte's side level moments later with a neat finish into the top corner.
