Liverpool endured a nightmare start to their latest Champions League campaign as they were thrashed 4-1 by Napoli in their opening Group A game.
Luciano Spalletti's men took an early lead when Piotr Zielinski converted from the spot in the fifth minute.

Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa and Giovanni Simeone extending their lead to three goals before the break.

Zielinski then grabbed another shortly after the restart, rendering Luis Diaz's almost immediate response irrelevant.
