A profligate Bayern Munich easily overcame Wolfsburg at home to go top of the Bundesliga standings already.
Bayern opened the scoring in the 33rd minute, when Musiala had time and space to drill the ball from the edge of the box past Wolfsburg goalkeeper Koen Casteels.
Wolfsburg were shocked while Bayern kept it going and doubled their lead two minutes before the break, as Muller deflected Joshua Kimmich's shot on target to stun Casteels.
Wolfsburg tried to push forward but weren't able to damage Bayern's well-positioned defense.
