The first ship with Ukrainian corn arrived in Istanbul. The ship, loaded with 26,000 tonnes of corn, left the Ukrainian port of Odessa on Monday morning. The vessel is expected to undergo an inspection in Istanbul and head to its final destination, the Lebanese port of Tripoli. .
This was announced by the Ministry of Defense of Turkey and the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.
Turkey emphasized that the ship would be inspected by a general control group, which includes Russian and Ukrainian officials. The coordination center in Istanbul will be responsible for the inspection.
