Lionel Messi didn't want to join Paris Saint-Germain in the first place but Barcelona's economic situation forced him to seek a future away from Camp Nou. Messi joining PSG, landing a contract until 2023. But now, PSG are reportedly keen to extend the Argentine forward's stay until 2024.   

As per a report in Marca , PSG have already hinted to Messi that they are planning to offer him a new contract. Though the offer hasn't been officially presented as yet, Messi himself has also stressed that he isn't looking to make a decision over his future till the conclusion of the FIFA World Cup this year.
