Further action will be taken against the couple who were caught selling maize on the streets of Baluwatar.

Kathmandu Municipal Police Chief Dhanpati Sapkota said that action was being taken against the couple for misbehaving with police.

Sapkota said that Chetendra Acharya and Sita Acharya, who were selling maize, have beaten police by stick and hot tong and also have Burnt the police uniforms.

Sapkota claimed that the police were mistreated while trying to remove them.

He said that action would be taken against them with the help of Nepal Police.
