Chiri Babu Maharjan, Nepali congress politician and former Mayor of Lalitpur Metropolitan city is heading towards victory.
Mayor candidate Maharjan from Lalitpur Metropolitan city is leading Mayoral race (LMC) by a margin of over 9 thousand 3 hundreds and 81 votes against his closest rival Hari Krishna Byanjankar of the CPN-UML.
In the ongoing vote counting, Maharjan has received 21904 votes so far, while Byanjankar is trailing behind with 12523 votes.
The counting is still going on.
